Accentium acquires women community portal SitaGita

Accentium Web has acquired women online community portal SitaGita.com’s parent company SitaGita Com Limited.

A leading women's community destination,Sitagita.com offers relevant content, active user generated blogs and forums. It also encourages and allows Indian women from all over the world to connect and share topics of interest. The site currently claims to have 800,000 unique visitors per month.

Founded by Vivek Pahwa, Accentium owns and runs several websites. The company also offers search engine marketing, search engine optimization and social media optimization services. As a result of the acquisition, Accentium has given SitaGita.com a complete facelift.

Commenting on the acquisition, Vivek Pahwa, Director of Accentium, said in a company statement, “There is a strong demand for women audience advertising inventory online in India and this is why we chose to acquire the site. The site currently gets 800,000 unique visitors per month and this will add to the overall user reach for Accentium. We also expect the pageviews of the site to triple post the launch of the new version. There are lots of media synergies with our other sites, Taaza.com, iShopper.com and StudyNation.com.”

The new SitaGita dot com stresses on high quality content which is relevant for its audience and also community features consisting a completely new forum, blogs and user profile section.

In February 2011, Accentium sold Gaadi.com, India’s leading auto portal to MIH Internet. Gaadi.com is in the business of providing new and used car solutions to users, dealers and advertisers. Prior to that, Accentium made a successful exit from Desimartini.com, selling it to HT Media Ltd in November 2007.
