Remember Hari Sadu, the arrogant boss who is shown his place by a junior who just happened to bag another job through Naurki? Well, he’s back. But, this time, we can reach him or say target him on Facebook. The unreasonable boss is back in action with the newly launched Facebook game by Naukri.com.
Called as ‘The Big Clash’, the game lets users play Boxing, Archery as well as Shooting with Hari Sadu as the target. The games were selected as India is competing in these three categories at the on-going much awaited London Olympics 2012.
Named as ‘Knock him out’, ‘Flex the bow’ and ‘Pull the trigger’, these games are truly innovative. Each of these games has three levels where the players get to assault Hari Sadu with guns, bows or gloves. Also, Hari Sadu will keep giving befitting replies to every blow, thus adding spunk to the whole exchange.
These games are available on Naukri.com’s Faceook page.
Commenting on the initiative Sumeet Singh, Senior VP, Marketing and Corporate Communication said in a company statement, “Social platforms have helped increase brand engagement which is why we are leveraging this opportunity by launching a game which will give users a taste of these action packed games. It will provide an opportunity for jobseekers to take a quick break between office hours especially after a disturbed interaction with their Hari Sadu.”
It allows players to challenge friends from their Facebook friend list and the community. Users can also keep a track of their scores and ranking vis-a-vis the other players through a live score board. It has been developed on a HTML5 platform, thus making it user friendly with all the internet browsers.
The first instalment of Hari Sadu was in 2006 where he is on the phone and the second one came in 2010 during the recession period. The second instalment of the ad was first released on YouTube which garnered 60,000 views in first week.
Job search portals today are using advertising and branding tools to promote themselves on all social platforms. Earlier in May, online recruitment solutions provider Monster India today announced an integrated campaign around its new brand positioning ‘Find Better’.
The company launched a WAP portal to help seekers and employers to access MonsterIndia.com from anywhere they are.
Monster India has also floated BeKnown — a professional networking app, wherein people can identify and connect with friends and professional contacts and grow their professional network.
