Sav Evangelou, Executive Creative Director - Digitas UK was the closing keynote presenter for ad:tedh New Delhi 2011. He began his keynote by emphasizing that marketers have to re-evaluate their view on advertising to create reasons for brands to be more engaging and hence the title of his presentation was “brands have to earn the right to play a role in people’s lives”. He drove this point through his top 10 tips which were supported by case studies of brands like Ariel, Head & Shoulders, Nissan, Oral-B, Shell, Land Rover, Lacoste and Snickers. His presentation challenged the process by which marketers assess and buy digital advertising.
