The opening keynote on day two of ad:tech New Delhi 2012 was Nestle’s Global Head of Digital Marketing & Social Media – Pete Blackshaw. ‘Small is the new BIG’ was the key aspect hinted by Pete & his speech revolved around the 3 pillars of building a brand - Listening, Engaging & Inspiring. In his current role, he emphasized on how social media has played an integral part in the brand building way for Nestle as a company.
While he showed a few amazing videos on the kind of international campaigns Nestle has done worldwide, their homegrown campaign which has Deepika Padukone as their brand ambassador with Purab Kohli in their TVCs was also analyzed from viewpoints that got them tangible results. It began with TV, spilling into Print which then got translated on their Facebook page where they saw a great response.
