The Bangalore based techno start-up offers Business Phone Systems on the Cloud to Small & Medium Enterprises. Exotel offers a number to a company on which they can receive & make lots of calls & SMS, all at the same time without having to invest in any infrastructure. Currently, with revenue of four lakh per month, the company has over 65 clients. Exotel was founded by Shivakumar Ganesan in July 2011.

The product is a dashboard with Sales tools, Marketing tools, Customer support tools, Business intelligence, analytics etc, i.e. all tools necessary for an enterprise to run their business smoothly over Voice & SMS.

Industry studies point out that the Indian “cloud computing” and cloud service market which is currently at $400 million, will reach $4.5 billion by 2015. We can truly believe these numbers as India has more phones than toilets.
